The prices of foodstuffs and soft drinks in the Czech Republic represented 75% of the EU average, which is the fifth lowest number within the EU27. The most expensive foodstuffs and soft drinks are in Denmark that is 39% above the EU average.

The cheapest goods in this sector are in Poland (64%) and Bulgaria (68%). On the other hand, expensive foodstuffs and soft drinks are sold in Ireland (29% above the EU average) and in Belgium (15% above the EU average), according to the data released by Eurostat.
