Motor vehicle production in Czech Republic continuously grows

imageAutomotive industry in Czech Republic continuously grows and export of motor vehicles reaches new numbers.
 

The production in the segment of motor vehicle production increased by 14.4% y/y in September 2010. The revenues of the companies doing business in this segment increased by 12.4%. On the other hand, the producers of other transport means saw their production decrease by 5% y/y and their revenues dropped by 3.9% on September 2009.

In September, Czech passenger car manufacturers exported vehicles worth CZK 22.57 bln, up 11.2% on the year. Exports of utility vehicles went on the other hand down 46.9% to CZK 176 mln. Exports of car components from the Czech Republic climbed 4.7% in September to CZK 15.23 bln.
